Quick! What’s your gut reaction in response to hearing the word “yoga”? Ok, whatever your reaction was, drop it, let it go, put it down for now and guess what? You just did yoga! The inception of So You Think You Can Yoga?® stems from the plethora of misconceptions I hear from my students, dancers, athletes and from everyday people. We think of ourselves as being a certain way…flexible, stiff strong, weak, etc... because we habitually operate from a false sense of perception. We shoot ourselves in the foot by curtailing our physical, mental and spiritual development. Stepping away from our habitual patterns opens up new possibilities and lends itself to a genuine re-examination into how we move, think, live. So get out of your own way and see that you indeed can yoga!
